ESG-rhetoric is all around us. So too are sovereign risks. Yet, analytical attempts to purposefully integrate ESG-elements into sovereign risk remain partial and arbitrary. The financial community now mostly agrees that ESG factors are material and must be taken into consideration. But confusion still rules on how to systematically and meaningfully implement ESG into traditional sovereign risk assessment methodologies.

In this webcast we will debate some of the most pressing issues in this field. Should investors and analysts treat ESG as a new and unique set of factors? Or, should E, S and G be integrated into regular financial risk analysis? How should the various factors be selected and weighted? And what is the right time horizon? What are the risks of greenwashing?
